Crane assisted Tree removal

Occasionaly, It is necessary to use a crane to assist in the removal process. Dangerous , Larger than average, or inaccesible limbs and trees. Would  warrant the use of a crane When over structures, power lines or other obatacles.

This is A 75 ton crane . That piece of wood is about 10000 lbs.  The top three lines on the electric pole are hot lines. The Lead on the far left of the tree is about 2 feet from the  Closest power line.

The tree started the day with three  main vertical leads. Now there are one and a half .

Now there is only Half of a lead and the trunk left.

And the rest is history. The base of the tree measured 17 feet across at ground level.
